Series – Christmas Don’t Be Late
It’s Christmas time! This season can be full of so much fun, excitement, busyness and celebration. Think about the plans, parties, get togethers, gifts, food, and all of it. At the same time, in the midst of everything going on we can often experience longing, grief, waiting, anxiety and anticipation. The way of Jesus isn’t just to press in and power through. Instead Advent is an invitation to slow down, to listen, to wait and anticipate the best gift the world has ever received — the incarnation of Jesus, God become human in the form of a baby. Let’s not just stay busy. Instead, let’s take some time to slow down, to listen, and to see what we can learn as we wait and anticipate the birth of our Savior.
